A State’s primary responsibility towards its citizens it to protect them from internal and external threats. Sadly, that has never been the case in Pakistan. On one hand, state has reportedly been involved in persecution of various ethnicities and on the other hand has been complicit with terrorists. Pashtuns and Balochs have been at the receiving end since 1948. Pashtuns have been displaced and disowned in their own lands under the pretext of fighting terrorists.
